Meet Our Christian Preschool Staff
Toddler 1: Ms. Sarah
I love working with children. I feel it is the most rewarding career I could have chosen. Every day I get to see each child grow and develop a little more. I have worked in the child care field for over fourteen years, and have my early childhood education degree, specializing in infant and toddlers. I have 3 children, ages 9, 6, and 1, with another one due to arrive in July 2017. I also have a fantastic boyfriend Jason, who I have been with for four years.
Toddler 2: Ms. Ann
I’ve been married to my husband Donald for 23 years, and we have 4 children and a Jack Russell Terrier named Cody. I have worked with children for many years. Over the years, I have also done volunteer work at my church teaching classes and coaching t-ball. I love working with children and seeing their faces light up when they learn something new! I love arts and crafts! I was born and raised in Wisconsin and have now lived in Minnesota for 20 years, but am still a big Packers fan!
Infant 1: Ms. Shauna
Shauna is our infant teacher who has over 15 years of experience in childhood education. Shauna graduated high school in Princeton and went on to attend Rasmussen college. She has a daughter, Mint, and enjoys crafting in her spare time. Her crafting specialties are sewing, crochet, and making headbands. Shauna’s favorite quote is, “Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle.”
Infant 2: Ms. Anita
Working with kids is my passion. I enjoy reading books and singing to the kids. I am a very compassionate and considerate person, and it shows in the way I care for the kids. I love spending time with my family, and it brings out the joy in my heart. I also enjoy quiet walks at the park.
Preschool 1: Ms. Becky
I was a family daycare provider for 19 years, and have a degree in Child Development. I enjoy going to the cabin, fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, gardening, and running. I like to relax and spend quality time with my husband, my two children, my dogs, and my extended family and friends.
Preschool 2: Ms. Marpah
I have been married for over twenty years, and have three wonderful children. I have a bachelor’s degree in Education, and have worked with kids from many different countries for over twenty years. Helping others and being with kids makes me happy.
Preschool 3: Ms. Katie
I have been teaching for over 20 years and have primarily worked with toddlers and young preschool ages. I have always loved children, and got my calling to be a preschool teacher full-time right around the time I graduated from college. I have been married to my husband, Clayton for 10 years and we have one beautiful daughter, Tova, who is 7. We love to fish, go camping, and enjoy as much time together as possible!
Being employed at New Creations Learning Center has been such a dream come true for me. The first time I set foot in this building I got this overwhelmingly good feeling. Every night I leave, I leave with my heart even more full, and my life even more blessed, simply from the kids I work with, and the staff and families that I encounter throughout the day.
