Students of our Christian childcare center in Lino Lakes, MN, are valued, respected, and loved at New Creations Childcare. Our preschool classrooms are bright, learning is activity-based, and all of our teachers are constantly learning and applying new methods of education.

Special emphasis is placed on nature as this learning center is located right in the middle of a beautiful nature preserve. This center is licensed for 111 students, so you can be confident that your child will be able to interact with many other children and make new friends who are his or her age.

Assistant Director: Kelsey L.

Kelsey is our Assistant Director at Lino Lakes! She has been with the company for almost 6 years now. She graduated from Rasmussen with a Bachelor’s in Business Management in the fall of 2018. She has taught in both the Infant rooms and Preschool rooms before accepting the Assistant Director position. Kelsey has been in this position for the last year and is really enjoying learning the management side of the company. There are so many reasons she loves working with New Creations and with the kiddos. She enjoys being able to see and work with all the different age groups as well as establishing a great relationship with the families!

Infant 1: Ms. Paige

Paige is our Infant 1 Lead Teacher! She’s been working with kids for about 7 years and her favorite part about it is watching the children interact with one another! She also loves watching them develop their own personalities. Paige is currently an LPN and continuing her education as a nurse and also with early childhood development.

Toddler 1: Ms. Alyia

Aliya is our Toddler 1 Lead Teacher at Lino Lakes! She is from Israel and is the mother to 5 children. She has a 4-year degree in early childhood education. Aliya really enjoys working with kids. Helping children and their families is the most rewarding job she can think of! Knowing that her job is to help kids achieve their full potential, and to help them feel happier and better about themselves, brings a huge smile to Aliya’s face!

Toddler 2: Ms Rachel

Rachel is our new Lead Teacher in the older Toddler 2 room. She grew up working at a daycare and loved spending time with her nephews. Rachel graduated last spring with a four year degree and now see no better place to spend her time than with wonderful tiny humans every day!

Infant 2: Ms. Dawn

Dawn is our Older Infant Room Teacher. Dawn has run her own licensed home childcare and has 10 years of center and pre-school experience. She has worked with all age groups including school age, but her favorite age group is Infant and Toddler. Dawn’s early childhood experience goes all the way back to high school where she worked at the preschool located within Coon Rapids Senior High School. Dawn is married and has 2 children ages 19 and 21, along with 2 fur babies ages 1 and 3. Dawn was a Scout leader for many years and a devoted volunteer at her children's school. She grew up in Coon Rapids attending elementary and junior high school at Epiphany Church and School. She graduated from Coon Rapids High School. Along with Dawn’s education and experience in Early Childhood she has held a Dental Assisting License and was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide. She has cared for the very young and old alike. She is also a trained volunteer of the BeFriender Ministry. What she loves most about her job is the relationships she forms with children, families and co-workers. She loves being a part of your child's team! She believes in treating every child as if they were her own. Outside of New Creations, Dawn loves spending time with family, reading, watching movies and traveling. Dawn’s favorite Bible verse is Mark 10:13-16. Verse 16 “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”

Preschool: Ms Kristina

Kristina is the Lead Teacher in our preschool classroom. She went to Minnesota State University to study elementary education. About a year into the program she realized she really enjoyed working with the younger age groups. That's when she decided to transfer to Rasmussen College to pursue early childhood education! Kristina has her associate degree in Early Childhood Education-Child Development and she really enjoys working with children. They are hilarious, honest and so eager to learn! She loves being able to make an impact in a child’s life by introducing them to the magic of learning and knowledge.

Pre K 1: Ms. Lauren

Lauren is the Lead Teacher of our second to oldest class (Pre-K 1) at New Creations Lino Lakes. She loves preschool and all the exploring, learning and fun they get to have! She received her elementary education licensure from Bethel University and is also in the process of attaining her middle level social studies licensure. She is a lifelong learner and loves to get her hands on any form of new information that she can! She can’t wait to share her love of learning with your child! Lauren grew up in Circle Pines, MN and loves to spend as much time with her family and friends as possible. Her son, Jack, will be 3 years old soon! When she is not learning with your children, she is spending time with him! She cannot wait to spend the next year learning and growing with you!

Pre K-2: Mr. Josh

Josh is our Pre-K 2 Lead Teacher! He attended the U of M to get a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. He’s have worked with children in school programs and as a sports coach previously. He absolutely loves to see the kids learn and grow, especially when it is something he has been a part of teaching them.
