Students of our Christian childcare center in Lino Lakes, MN, are valued, respected, and loved at New Creations Childcare. Our preschool classrooms are bright, learning is activity-based, and all of our teachers are constantly learning and applying new methods of education.
Special emphasis is placed on nature as this learning center is located right in the middle of a beautiful nature preserve. This center is licensed for 111 students, so you can be confident that your child will be able to interact with many other children and make new friends who are his or her age.

Meet Our Staff
Co-Director: Kelsey L.
Kelsey is our Co-Director at Lino Lakes! She has been with the company for almost 6 years now. She graduated from Rasmussen with a Bachelor’s in Business Management in the fall of 2018. She has taught in both the Infant rooms and Preschool rooms before accepting the Assistant Director position and now Director position. Kelsey has been really enjoying learning the management side of the company. There are so many reasons she loves working with New Creations and with the kiddos. She enjoys being able to see and work with all the different age groups as well as establishing a great relationship with the families!
Co-Director: Rachael O.
Rachael is our Co-Director at Lino Lakes! She has 10+ plus years’ experience in Early Childhood Education and has worked with all age groups throughout the years. She is excited to be completing her Bachelor's degree in March in Early Childhood Education Leadership, and apply what she is learning at the center daily. She has enjoyed building relationships with all the families and staff since she joined the Lino Lakes team in June 2019. Rachael believes there is nothing better than seeing children achieve milestones, no matter the size, and loves being able to celebrate with them!
Director-In-Training: Mr. Josh
Josh graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Sports Management but fell in love with working with kids during a youth coaching program. He has now been with New Creations for almost 3 years, beginning in preschool and toddler room before becoming the lead PreK2 teacher. Since then, he has taken on the Director in Training program and has continued to gain experience in each of our classrooms while learning the management side of New Creations.
Infant 1: Ms. Rachel
Rachel is our new Lead Teacher in the Infant 1 room. She grew up working at a daycare and loved spending time with her nephews. Rachel graduated last spring with a four year degree and now see no better place to spend her time than with wonderful tiny humans every day!
Infant 2: Ms. Dawn
Dawn is our Older Infant Room Teacher. Dawn has run her own licensed home childcare and has 10 years of center and pre-school experience. She has worked with all age groups including school age, but her favorite age group is Infant and Toddler. Dawn’s early childhood experience goes all the way back to high school where she worked at the preschool located within Coon Rapids Senior High School. Dawn is married and has 2 children ages 19 and 21, along with 2 fur babies ages 1 and 3. Dawn was a Scout leader for many years and a devoted volunteer at her children's school. She grew up in Coon Rapids attending elementary and junior high school at Epiphany Church and School. She graduated from Coon Rapids High School. Along with Dawn’s education and experience in Early Childhood she has held a Dental Assisting License and was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide. She has cared for the very young and old alike. She is also a trained volunteer of the BeFriender Ministry. What she loves most about her job is the relationships she forms with children, families and co-workers. She loves being a part of your child's team! She believes in treating every child as if they were her own. Outside of New Creations, Dawn loves spending time with family, reading, watching movies and traveling. Dawn’s favorite Bible verse is Mark 10:13-16. Verse 16 “And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”
Toddler 1: Ms. Michelle
Ms. Michelle is excited to join the Lino Lakes team as our Toddler 1 Teacher! She joined New Creations in the fall of 2019 as part of the Guest Teacher Program, and joined Lino Lakes in March 2020. She has her CDA through Rasmussen college, which she has loved applying within the Toddler classroom! In her free time, Ms. Michelle enjoys walking, swimming, and watching her son play sports. She is excited to be teaching your children and connecting with all of her families!
Toddler 2: Ms SarahMarie
Ms. SarahMarie is our Older Toddler Teacher. She began working for New Creations in September of 2019. Her Husband-to-be, Trevor, their two dogs, Arnold (1 year) and Kirra (10 years) own a house in Circle Pines, MN. She grew up in Shakopee, MN and started her College Degree in Dental Science Forensics in Duluth, MN. Halfway through her schooling, she felt she was missing something. That’s when Ms. SarahMarie decided to follow her heart and switch her major to get her B.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education. She is currently enrolled in Grand Canyon University doing online classes. When Ms. SarahMarie is not working to better her students or her future, you can find her at the gym, outside hiking, video gaming or playing with her puppies.
Preschool: Ms Kristina
Kristina is the Lead Teacher in our preschool classroom. She went to Minnesota State University to study elementary education. About a year into the program she realized she really enjoyed working with the younger age groups. That's when she decided to transfer to Rasmussen College to pursue early childhood education! Kristina has her associate degree in Early Childhood Education-Child Development and she really enjoys working with children. They are hilarious, honest and so eager to learn! She loves being able to make an impact in a child’s life by introducing them to the magic of learning and knowledge.
Preschool: Ms Kelsey
Kelsey B. began working at New Creations in March of 2016, and since then has gained experience working as a lead teacher in the Preschool, Pre-K, and older infant classrooms. She is our preschool teacher. Her favorite part about being a teacher is helping a child build their confidence. She realizes that there are so many important milestones in a child’s early years, and feels that it is special to be a part of that. Outside of work, she likes to spend time with her husband Ryan and their dog, Elphie. She also enjoys doing crafts and anything related to music.
Pre-K 1: Ms. Jen
Ms. Jen is our Pre-K 1 teacher. She grew up in Shoreview and graduated from Mounds View High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of St. Thomas. Jen’s favorite thing about teaching is getting to inspire young minds. When Jen is not inspiring young minds, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, downhill skiing, and driving her mustang convertible.
Pre-K 2: Ms. jazmine
Ms. Jazmine is our Pre-K 2 teacher. She has been working at New Creations for 5 years. She has worked at multiple locations and has also worked with all different age groups. She graduated from Blaine High School is 2008 and then attended Anoka- Ramsey where she attained her Associates Degree. Ms. Jazmine loves working out, playing softball, reading books and baking. Her favorite color is yellow, she has 12 tattoos, and her dream is to travel the world. Ms. Jazmine is getting married in December of 2020!
