There is still time to enroll! Our Summer Camp Program will run June 8- September 4, 2020. We host this program at 5 locations: Big Lake, Brooklyn Park, Lexington, Lino Lakes, and Hugo!
New Creations Summer Camp Program is an extension of New Creations Child Care. Our summer care program is a high-quality, curriculum driven program focused on developing each child’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs. In order to build a solid foundation for lifelong learning, our summer care program uses a thematic school age curriculum, in-house and out of the center field trips, science projects, engaging environments, interpersonal interactions and other best practice opportunities to foster critical thinking, deeper meaning and passionate learning. At New Creations we believe that each child is created by God to learn, grow and wonder.
The tuition per week includes all meals, learning activities, in-house and out of the center field trips, and exceptional care provided by qualified teachers and support staff.
New Creations Summer Camp monthly themes this year are: Treasure Island – Find and Explore treasures as we go on exciting adventures searching the land and sea! Camping – Nature is all around us and what better way to learn about it than through the theme of camping and the outdoors! Come along and learn about bugs, weather, nature and how to camp all month long. Olympics – This year the Olympics is in Japan. We will learn about the history of the Olympics, the country of Japan and all about the sports that make up the Olympics.
Students will be immersed in learning activities throughout the day, especially on days where in-house and out of the center field trips are not occurring. These learning activities are such that fol low the monthly/weekly theme and support the learning areas of mathematics, writing, science, and social studies,
Our in-house and out of the center field trips include Sea World, Wonder Weavers, the local library, Wargo Nature Center, Bob the
Beachcomber, local authors, elite high school athletes, and Kid Creative Art Studio. These field trips are designed to compliment and enrich the curriculum, so that the student is wholly immersed in the month’s theme. This is a great time to further explore, ask questions and go deeper in our desired learning targets.
