Meet MacKenzie, our Site Director at New Creations Child Care in Waconia! MacKenzie attended Minnesota State University, Mankato, where she earned a degree in Child Development & Family Studies. She started her career in childcare in 2014 and has been with New Creations since 2025.

MacKenzie loves working with children because every day is filled with opportunities to learn and grow together. Her favorite moments are seeing the "light bulb" click when a child masters something new and watching them grow into their own unique personalities. She also loves seeing the world through their eyes—their curiosity, creativity, and joy make every day rewarding for her. Being a part of their journey is truly a blessing.

MacKenzie enjoys traveling to Disney World with her family, going to Texas to visit her dad, and playing and watching hockey. She also loves spending time outside and exploring waterfalls with her kids.

With years of childcare experience, ongoing training, and certifications, they are passionate about working with children to provide a safe, loving, and faith-based home away from home! They love building individual relationships to provide the children with the best quality of care they can!

Our Curriculum

Our fully accredited curriculum is written in house and includes activities such as music, art, reading, sensory, and science. We make sure every child will be fully ready for Kindergarten!

Our Playspaces

Our indoor and outdoor learning spaces provide a safe place to run, jump, play, and learn. We understand this is an important part of each child’s learning and development.

Our Food Program

Our food program includes breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack at no additional cost.

With your child's health in mind, we follow USDA and state guidelines for portions and nutrition. With their happiness in mind, we make sure they are always trying new, fun, and flavorful options!
